Goji Berry - power for your body?

It is said that goji berry (wolfberry) is one of the new power food.

The reason: it is high in antioxidants and contains a lot of nutrients like amino acids, vitamins, calcium, iron and zinc.

When I first time read about the goji berry a few months ago, I didn't know how it looks like. Later I found out that these are exactly the same berries my mother uses (among other stuff), when she makes Chinese chicken soups.

She used to tell me and my sister (in our childhood) that the berries were very healthy and good for beauty. However, I always thought it was something she just said...

But maybe she is right?
